Pete Fecteau has already appeared on Origin of Cool with his creation “Dream Big” –  a Martin Luther King mosaic out of Rubik’s Cubes.

The artist has now revealed to Origin of Cool that he plans to create a massive 8,000+ cube mosaic. It will be titled “Gray Matters” and will portray Albert Einstein. The new mosaic will measure 37’ by 7’8”. “Gray Matters” will be exhibited at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, Michigan in late September.

Like Origin of Cool’s upcoming ping pong project, Fecteau will be launching a Kickstarter (http://kck.st/GrayMatters) to help fundraise the additional $30,000 that he needs to complete the mosaic.
