Amazing Art Works Based On Children’s Drawings

You might remember the post on Origin of Cool that looked at Child’s Own Studio (the company that turned children’s illustrations into plush toys).

Well in a similar vain, The Monster Engine is based on the idea of creating realistic paintings from children’s drawings. These photos are part of the “The Monster Engine Project“, created by Dave DeVries. It includes a book, a demonstration, lecture and a gallery exhibition. It all turned out to be a great success and an innovative concept.
(Interesting side note: Dave DeVries was one of the illustrators for the X-men card collection).

Howdy. I'm Paul, a Copywriter, Blogger, Trend-Spotter and one hell of a cook. If you like what I do because I do what a like, let me know. Let's get talking. I believe if you're remembered for one thing you've done great, but if you're remembered for more, you've lived (Paul Frade Quote *tm). I'm set to leave my mark, and I will. Let's party :)
