Whilst at SXSW last month, I visited Flatstock – an exhibition highlighting the most popular concert poster artists. I came across Cricket Press that was started  in 2003 Brian and Sara Turner from a tiny studio in their home of Lexington, KY.

They have created gig posters for hundreds of bands and created their own unique and weird vision of the world (Flatstock was in Austin, the home of weird, so they fit right in!). They use a hand-printed processes of letterpress and screen-printing and produce illustrations like the ones below that neatly combine the innocence of childhood with a darker Twin Peaks style ambience.
