If you have ever read articles entitled “The Top 10 Craziest Golf Courses”, you will have been dazzled by the likes of “The Extreme 19th” at the Legend Golf Safari course in Africa that has a tee that can only be accessed by helicopter! Origin of Cool likes to raise the bar (we’re trying to do this with Uberpong) and we feel it has gone through the roof with this idea.

The creation of the Maldivian government, Troon Golf and Waterstudio, a Dutch architecture firm, this $520 million floating golf course is designed to combat a big problem: The Maldives are about to sink below the ocean.

A bit like with Dubai World  - a series of islands shaped like countries – the course will be made up of a series of islands with multiple holes on each island. To get between islands there will be underwater tunnels that look like something out of SeaWorld and the islands will be anchored to the seabed with cables to stop them floating away! The course will be ready by the end of 2013.
