I Hear Voices…

Origin of Cool: USA

Google have announced the launch of Voice Search for desktop which is cool in itself. However, Breakfast, New York (a physical-digital interactive agency) have taken it one step further by creating The Verbalizer. This is an open source dev board to inspire people to build their own useful and wacky contraptions to take Voice Search to another level. This could be used in so many ways within stores to connect with consumers on a much deeper level.

Voice Search allows you to talk instead of type to search on google.com. All you need is Google Chrome 11 or higher and a built-in or attached mic.

Origin of Cool definitely sees the potential for brands and there are surely viral videos already being created that will embrace voice search.

The question that is surely on everyone’s mind: how long will it take before videos spread around the web of people using ‘naughty words’ to have some fun on Voice Search?!

Origin of Cool always has its finger on the pulse of cool so send us any examples of videos of how people are using Voice Search in original ways.
