He-Man’s Enemies Redesigned As Horror Villains

Origin of Cool: USA

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was one of the most memorable cartoons from my childhood. Alongside Thundercats and Transformers, it really held its own and inspired a range of toys that rivaled George Lucas’ Star Wars figures.

Artist Nathan Rosario has given several of the Masters of the Universe characters a facelift and turned them into something that wouldn’t be out of place on the set of a Wes Craven horror movie. Rosario hasn’t made it to Skeletor yet but didn’t shy away from making Evil-Lyn even more evil by giving her a staff made from a human spine. Enjoy!
