Famous People Sculpted From Matchsticks

On Origin of Cool, we frequently highlight the painstaking levels artists and designers go to to bring their creations to the world.

David Mach is no exception. His Matchhead Sculptures have been created by inserting matches, one by one, into a soft foundation block. The shapes are then slowly formed. His work includes sculptures of Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe.
