The RedBall Project is a street art installation concept we have already brought you on Origin of Cool. In Abu Dhabi recently, RedBall was the first street art installations the country has ever seen. Over a thirty day period during winter, red balls could be seen in The Sheikh Zayed Bridge by Zaha Hadid and in the Empty Quarter of the Western Region. Creator of RedBall, Kurt Perschke commented, ”Some of my favorite sites in Abu Dhabi were outside of the main city where the piece could operate less as ‘art’ and more as sheer surprise. In one spot we stayed long into the night with the local shopkeepers.”
