Up until about 5 years ago, Nokia used to have the majority of the market share in India and were a globally dominant organization. Then they fell on their own proverbial sword, shut their UK stores and blew it. Apple’s iPhones stormed into the mobile market and suddenly Nokia were out of contention. They have tried to experiment with pop-up shops and experiential stores but they seem to be lacking that creative edge.

So what better way to put themselves back on the map than with a great example of an instantly viral idea: A vibrating tattoo. The idea is that the tattoo would vibrate to alert the user to phone calls and text messages along with a wide range of other alerts by using different vibrations. This reminds me of the Braille phone  and the idea of communication through different pulses.
