Having recently survived my second SXSW in Austin, Texas, there was one thing that was very clear about the festival. There are probably more hipsters here than in Shoreditch, London! Whilst at Fader Fort which is east of I-35 (apparently the dividing line between the Downtowners and the Hipsters), I noticed XXX shutter shades, some incredible mustaches and casual trousers with smart shoes (normally a British trait worthy of a call to the fashion police). I even saw one gentleman riding a Penny Farthing bicycle whilst taking photos of friends with his iPhone.

Jonny Campbell designed this infographic called The Hipster Owner’s Manual to visualise what a lot of people have thought about this intriguing genre of human being. Below this, a video that portrays a more explicit view of the hipster!
