The World’s Coolest Music Festival
Tomorrowland is the “World’s biggest dance music festival” (huffingtonpost). Selling 180,000 tickets in “just one second”, the folks behind the festival have projected attendees from 214 countries will attend this year. Which is more than those who participated in the London Olympics (only 204 nations). Tomorrowland is so large they have branded their own planes to fly in festival goers from around the world. One of the coolest things about this festival is that it unites an amazingly vast number of people from all different realms of life. Tomorrowland uses the power of music to bring young people across cities, countries, and continents to enjoy dance music all together in one place. …and they have big news to share: The are moving locations!
Until now, this mega sized event has only taken place outside of Belgium. Manu and Michiel Beers, the entrepreneurs who started Tomorrowland , have announced: The party is hitting the road. No destination has been revealed yet, but the guys have created a website for fans to guess. Some (@EDMsnob) are saying the festival is set to be held twenty minutes west of Atlanta, at Bouckaert Farm which used to be home to CNTRPNT Music festival. However, no destination has yet to been confirmed nor denied. Beers brothers promise it will take place somewhere that is “similar to our fantastic terrain in Belgium”. We just hope it is closer then Belgium.
