Origin of Cool: Sydney, Australia -33.873651, 151.206890 World\'s First Invisible Ad

For the launch of Lynx’s first female fragrance (Lynx Anarchy), the deodorant company gave hundreds of pink and blue polarised sunglasses to Sydneysiders. The question that most of the public were asking is “why would I wear sunglasses at night?!” Well Lynx set up hacked LCD screens in a Sydney house so that when the shades were worn, you could see steamy and weird visuals in each window. This was the world’s first invisible ad and a much more effective and viral idea than most augmented reality or QR related advertising campaigns.
