The World’s First Vertical Forest

When complete, the 27 storey Bosco Verticale in Milan, will be the world’s first vertical forest. The building will be covered in plant life that in turn will aid in balancing the microclimate. Milan is one of the most polluted cities in Europe and the building acts as a response to the disappearance of nature in the urban jungle.
